The Different Varieties of Cannabis Oil

CBD oils do not contain any THC (at most traces that are below the legal limit of 0.2%). It can be called cannabis oil because the CBD ingredient is extracted from the cannabis plant and not from hemp seeds or nuts. Plant stems are also suitable for producing CBD oil, as they contain almost no THC. For the extraction of CBD, industrial hemp is used. This fiber-rich hemp generally contains less THC than other cannabis genera.

CBD oil is often based on hemp oil or olive oil. It may seem confusing, but it means that many producers add hemp extract to hemp seed oil or olive oil with varying levels of CBD (for example, with a concentration of 2% / 5% / 10%). As a result, the main ingredient is not cannabis oil, but hemp seed oil. Other manufacturers also add CBD to coconut oil or other vegetable oils. Calling cannabis oil CBD oil is not very concrete. CBD oils are, due to their low THC content, legally available in Germany. Learn more about the benefits of CBD oil in our detailed article on CBD oil. Hemp extract as a base

Hemp oil can be made from different parts of plants and genera, depending on the type of oil you want to produce. The resinous hemp extract serves as a basis for various Cannabis Grow Light, which are currently available in various shapes and tastes. Hemp extract is often mixed with hemp seed oil, coconut oil, olive oil or other vegetable oil. As it is known, marijuana oil or THC oil is mixed with coconut oil for medicinal purposes. CBD oils sold as supplements are often combined with organic hemp seed oil, as hemp seed oil contains many other healthy ingredients, such as omega-3 and -6 fatty acids. The most common dosage types are external with capsules or small bottles.

Marijuana oil, hash oil and THC oil

For a better understanding, let’s first explain what exactly hashish is. Hashish is a resin pressed into plates or blocks obtained from parts of the female cannabis plant. The main parts of the plant are the shoots, full of trichomes (hair / plant glands). Trichomes are especially rich in cannabinoids and THC. The separate trichomes are also called resin. The powdered resin is then pressed and is called hashish.

It is usually taken orally (smoked in pipes or as a joint and inhaled in so-called vaporizers). It is also used in food (for example, space cookies, and space cakes). Hashish is, therefore, a compressed resin extract that has a golden brown to black color, depending on the purity and genus of the plant. It has a higher THC concentration than unprocessed cannabis flowering and proportionately less CBD than CBD oil.
