Progressive Die Stamping

Deep Draw Stamping

The last technique of metal stamping. Here, the sheet metal plank is pulled into the die through a punch. By doing that shape is formed. Depth of a drawn is expected to exceed its diameter, and that is why it is known as a deep draw.

Stamping dies

Metal needs to be cut so that it may be in the desired form and shape. This is done using stamping dies which are the tools used. Dies vary in size and therefore there are different dies used in stamping.

There are some types of dies that do exist. These types of dies are used for forming, cutting, or both. Let’s look at the types of dies used.

Cutting
